What Have I Been Doing?

Well, I haven't been starving-which is a good thing. I promise, promise, promise that I hate, hate, hate the pay period from Dec. 21st-to Jan 31st. God has been good to us and I've been sewing, sewing, sewing. That's a good thing. We're not hungry and we have gas. Two very important things to survive. No, really God has blessed us and through this most tight of all tight months of the year-He has given me just as many sewing orders as He did in December. It truly has been helpful to my family. We've been wanting to be paid by the great school board for about 3 weeks now. Thursday's coming. Thank goodness!!!!
Well, I've sewn a lot of onesies, a few pillows, a handful of keychains, a handful of koozies, and now I'm about to sew myself a wristlet and little wallet. I've been wanting one, but haven't had the time to sew one for myself. I'll post some pictures when I get it done.
Someone asked me about an "I'm one" birthday onesie so I stitched up a sample of that, too.
Tres Dias is coming up early in March so I'll be super busy with that soon. It always manages to take a lot of my time, BUT it is soooooo very worth it and if you ever have the opportunity to participate in a weekend-GO FOR IT! It truly is life changing.

Christmas is gone!!!

Well, Christmas is gone, BUT I'm still sewing. I'm always amazed that people are still ordering stuff. It's always helpful after Christmas because that's the super long pay period for my family. We go from Dec. 20th to Jan. 30th without a check. It's a tight, tight month.
I've been trying out some new stuff and hope to post some pictures soon. I did list a couple of baby girl onesies. I had a few newborn/3 month tees left and decided to make some gifts. I finished the Birthday onesie for an online customer and dropped it in the mail. She asked for the bows on the shoulders and I loved it. I'm working on a cute personalized bowpen, but don't have it perfected yet. I'm also hoping to do some coffee mugs, new(different key chains), a wristlet, and other items that are on my list.
Enjoy the snow, IF we actually get any!
